Moruya to become RV-friendly town, boosting local tourism

The Eurobodalla Shire Council has unanimously endorsed a plan to designate Moruya as an 'RV-Friendly Town' to attract more tourists with motorhomes and caravans. The initiative, recommended by the Moruya Business Chamber, includes providing on-street parking for long vehicles, a free dump point, potable water, and 10 overnight sites at the North Heads Campground. The designation will be authorized by the Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia, with the only direct cost to ratepayers being two signs totaling $290.
