Hype is over: Major job cuts planned at motorhome provider
Caravan manufacturer Dethleffs is cutting around 90 positions at its Isny site by December due to declining demand following the post-pandemic boom. The reduction will be implemented through voluntary measures, including severance packages and an early retirement program for employees aged 60 and above. Despite the cuts, the company is investing a high single-digit million euro amount in new machinery and plans to launch a fully electric motorhome by 2028.
